Toyota Launches Sixth-Generation RAV4 in South Africa

Toyota has officially launched the sixth-generation RAV4 in South Africa, entering a competitive midsize SUV market.

This new model features a revised design and advanced specifications, with prices ranging from R770,500 to R1,043,900 depending on the variant.

New Features of the Sixth-Generation RAV4

The sixth-generation RAV4 showcases a fresh design while utilizing a heavily revised version of Toyota’s TNGA platform. It measures 4,600mm in length, 1,855mm in width, and 1,695mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690mm and a ground clearance of 201mm.

Exterior enhancements include a new hexagonal grille, slim LED headlamps, and C-shaped daytime running lights. The profile is defined by angular character lines, while the rear features a full-width light bar and prominent RAV4 lettering.

Safety features are comprehensive, including Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and Vehicle Stability Control. All derivatives, except the GX, come with Parking Support and a Panoramic View Monitor with 3D functionality.
