Fans Rejoice: “Outlaws” Season 2 Set to Premiere Soon!
In thrilling news for followers of the acclaimed Showmax drama Outlaws, Season 2 is on the horizon! Mark your calendars for November 17, 2025, when the gripping new season will launch on Showmax, followed a few days later by its debut on Mzansi Magic on November 22, 2025. This season promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring all the tension, love, and betrayal that has captivated audiences thus far.
The ongoing feud between two formidable families—the Zulu cattle-farming Biyela clan and the Basotho cattle-raiding Ts’eoles—intensifies in this upcoming installment. New faces will join the ensemble, including actress Noluthando Ngema, who takes on the pivotal role of Sihle, stepping in for Nirvana Nokwe. Sihle’s storyline is set to delve deep into the complexities of love and loyalty as she sacrifices her ties to family and community for a chance at happiness with her lover, Leruo Tseole, portrayed by Lehlohonolo Mayeza.
Joining Noluthando in this season are rising stars like Thandolwethu Zondi, known for her role in Shaka iLembe, who plays Thunzi Biyela, and Mamodibe Ramodibe, from Black Tax, as Buang.
In an exclusive conversation with Africazine, Noluthando revealed her excitement about stepping into her new role. “I was so shocked—out of excitement, obviously,” she recalled, sharing how her family shared in her jubilation. The audition process was a journey in itself, with Noluthando describing the anticipation of receiving that life-changing call. “I had to wait weeks for a callback. During that time, I kept having dreams of people saying they had seen me on television!”
Her preparation for the role involved casual acting sessions that felt more like empowering discussions than formal training. Noluthando worked closely with acting coach Ferry Jele, exploring the depths of Sihle’s character, watching performances to find relatable nuances, and absorbing lessons from her peers.
She expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside seasoned actors like Thembinkosi Mthembu, stating how their collaborative atmosphere significantly enhanced her skills. Noluthando also shared some light-hearted moments from filming, including her unexpected adventures with horseback riding—“I fell off a horse twice [chuckles], but it was such a thrilling experience!”
As the premiere date approaches, Noluthando can hardly contain her excitement. “Honestly, I can’t wait to see myself on screen. This is my first-ever TV break, and I’m so eager for viewers to see what we’ve created! This new season has truly exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait for the life-changing moments that come with being part of such a big platform,” she enthused.
So, get ready to dive back into the compelling world of Outlaws when it returns this November. With new twists on age-old conflicts, relatable characters, and emerging talent, this season promises to be an unmissable chapter in South Africa’s drama landscape!
