Seyi Tinubu Gains Support from Igbo Leaders in Race for Governorship Candidacy!

Support Grows as Igbo Youths Endorse Seyi Tinubu for Lagos Governorship in 2027

In a significant political development, the Lagos State Igbo Youth Organizations (LASIYO) have officially endorsed Seyi Tinubu’s governorship aspirations for the upcoming 2027 elections. This endorsement was made at a vibrant gathering at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos on February 1. The event brought together various factions of the Igbo community, including the Igbo Youth Assembly Lagos, Umu-Igbo Youth Cultural Association Lagos, and Igbo Youth Initiative Lagos, highlighting a united front in support of Tinubu.

LASIYO’s President, Obioma Andrew O, eloquently expressed the group’s enthusiasm for Tinubu’s vision, citing his strong leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to the progress of Lagos State. “The Lagos State Igbo Youth Organization is excited to endorse Seyi Tinubu, a visionary leader who shares our commitment to the welfare and progress of Lagos State residents,” O stated, emphasizing that the future of Lagos is indeed bright with Tinubu at the helm.

The organization praised Tinubu’s impressive track record in critical areas such as youth empowerment, education, and infrastructure development. They noted that under his initiatives, over 1,000 youths have already been empowered, showcasing his dedication to uplifting the community. Furthermore, LASIYO cited Tinubu’s proposed infrastructure development plans, suggesting they could enhance Lagos’s economic growth by an impressive 20%—a projection that bodes well for the state’s future.

Moreover, LASIYO highlighted Tinubu’s leadership style, which revolves around inclusivity, transparency, and accountability. These principles align closely with those of the organization, reinforcing their conviction that Tinubu is the right candidate for the job. Community leaders and stakeholders from various sectors were present at the endorsement event, further solidifying support for Tinubu’s candidacy across different blocs in Lagos.

With voices of support rising from diverse segments of the community, LASIYO has reiterated its commitment to backing leaders who prioritize progress and unity. They firmly believe that Seyi Tinubu’s governorship would herald meaningful change and usher in a new era for Lagos State, one filled with opportunities and growth for all residents.

This energetic endorsement not only emphasizes the importance of youth involvement in politics but also reflects a broader trend of unity among different ethnic groups in Nigeria, fostering a collaborative environment for development. As the countdown to the 2027 elections begins, all eyes will be on Tinubu and the strategies he proposes to elevate Lagos further.
