Former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, will be the keynote speaker at the 23rd annual WIMBIZ conference, a significant milestone for the organization. Prof. Folashade Ogunsola, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), will take on the role of chairperson, bringing her extensive experience and leadership to the forefront of this influential gathering.

Scheduled to take place from November 7-8, 2024, the conference is themed “Dream. Dare. Do.” This theme resonates deeply in today’s rapidly changing economic landscape, emphasizing the importance of women stepping into leadership roles with confidence and ambition. The hybrid format of the conference allows for both in-person and virtual participation, ensuring wider accessibility for all attendees.

In a recent statement, WIMBIZ’s Executive Director, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, highlighted the conference as the organization’s flagship event, underlining its dedication to empowering women. With over 330,000 women inspired since its inception, the impact of this conference cannot be overstated.
