Honda South Africa has launched the new CR-V e:HEV hybrid, replacing the previous CR-V 1.5T models.
This hybrid SUV features a 106kW/189Nm 2.0l four-cylinder petrol engine combined with electric motors that deliver an additional 135kW and 335Nm of torque. The CR-V e:HEV is priced at R949,900 and includes a comprehensive warranty and service plan.
Honda’s Innovative Hybrid Technology
The CR-V e:HEV is designed for fuel efficiency, boasting a combined-cycle fuel consumption of 5.4l/100km and CO₂ emissions of 128g/km. It utilizes a lithium-ion battery pack to enhance performance and efficiency.
Equipped with Honda’s Real-Time AWD with Intelligent Control System, the vehicle can send torque to the rear axle before front-wheel slip occurs, improving traction on various surfaces.
Advanced Features and Comfort
The interior of the CR-V e:HEV showcases RS-style eco-friendly leather upholstery with red contrast stitching and enhanced noise suppression. It includes a 10.2″ digital instrument cluster and a 9″ touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
