Toyota South Africa Motors has unveiled two new Land Cruiser 300 models featuring advanced hybrid technology.

The new models incorporate a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol hybrid powertrain, with the ZX specification available now and the GR-S version set to launch in 2026. The hybrid powertrain delivers a total output of 341kW and 790Nm, enhancing both performance and fuel efficiency.

New Hybrid Models Enhance Land Cruiser Lineup

The Land Cruiser 300 now includes a hybrid variant that combines a powerful 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine with Toyota’s compact HEV system. This innovative powertrain is designed to provide smooth acceleration and maintain the vehicle’s legendary off-road capabilities.

With a fuel consumption rate of 10l/100 km, the hybrid models offer improved efficiency compared to traditional internal combustion engine options. Additionally, the Land Cruiser 300 HEV features a waterproof AC inverter that can supply up to 1,500W of external power, allowing users to power compatible devices.
