Hany Saad Triumphs at London’s 2025 Residential Architecture Awards!

In an inspiring showcase of Egyptian talent, architect Hany Saad has been awarded the prestigious Residential Architectural Property Award at the 2025 International Design & Architecture Awards held in London. Hosted by Design Et Al, this annual event is considered one of the most competitive in the field, featuring over 650 entries from around the world. From these, only 12 remarkable projects were shortlisted, highlighting the incredible creativity and craftsmanship in architecture today.

Saad, the founder of Cairo-based Hany Saad Innovations, secured this accolade for a stunning luxury residence located in Palm Hills, Giza. His design masterfully balances modern minimalism with functional living, aiming to create a sanctuary that resonates with elegance and comfort. “I wanted to craft a statement of balance, where innovative design meets human need,” Saad shares with Africazine.

Characterized by its clean lines and open-plan layout, the residence seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor spaces. An emphasis on natural light and cross-ventilation enhances the home’s energy efficiency and creates a serene environment. The interior features a neutral color palette softened by natural stone, wood, and metal, providing warmth and inviting spaces while maintaining a touch of sophistication. Smart zoning within the home distinguishes the lively social areas from tranquil private retreats — a thoughtful design choice that adds to the quality of living.

What’s more, the integration of advanced smart home technologies, including lighting, climate control, and energy monitoring, complements the architectural vision. Saad and his team collaborated closely with engineering and landscape specialists to ensure that every detail, from structural elements to the finer finishes, was executed with precision.

Saad humbly acknowledges the significance of this achievement, stating, “Beyond a personal milestone, this win is a significant step forward for Egyptian architecture on the global stage.” His success not only elevates his firm but also underscores Egypt’s growing influence in the realm of contemporary architecture.

As the spotlight shines on Saad’s groundbreaking work, it’s clear that his vision extends far beyond aesthetics. He is paving the way for a future where luxury, sustainability, and innovation intertwine, making a lasting impact on the architectural landscape.

With accolades like this, it’s exciting to see how Egyptian designers continue to enrich the global conversation around architecture and design.
