ExxonMobil is making significant strides in Mozambique’s Rovuma LNG project with substantial contract awards.

The US oil giant has awarded approximately .1-billion in pre-investment contracts for upstream equipment related to the Rovuma LNG Phase 1 project in Cabo Delgado. These contracts aim to facilitate progress toward a final investment decision and involve key partners such as Mozambique’s Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos and several international firms.

Aker Solutions Mozambique will play a vital role in supporting local operations. Other notable suppliers include Advanced Technology Valve, Corinth Pipeworks, Sumitomo Corporation of America, and Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals, highlighting a diverse supply chain for the project.
