Capricorn Foundation is investing in Namibia’s future with a significant commitment to early childhood development.

The foundation has pledged N million over the next three years to support a new initiative led by the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture and the Education Outcomes Fund. This program aims to enhance formalized early childhood development (ECD) and is expected to benefit over 2,500 children by its anticipated launch in 2027.

Capricorn Foundation’s Commitment to ECD in Namibia

The investment from Capricorn Foundation will focus on an outcomes-based financing model. Payments will be contingent on independently verified improvements in child development, center quality, and nutrition outcomes. This approach ensures that funding is directly linked to tangible results.
