Africazine:

Auto Detailing Namibia showcases the entrepreneurial spirit of young Namibians.

Founded in 2019 by brothers Denzel and Eduardo Platt, the business has evolved from basic car washes to a full-service vehicle detailing operation. In 2023, they moved into their own warehouse, marking a significant milestone in their journey.

From Humble Beginnings to a Thriving Business

Initially, Denzel and Eduardo started by washing cars at home, learning the ropes of car detailing through YouTube. Their determination led them to expand their services beyond basic cleaning to include full valets, machine polishing, panel beating, spray painting, and paint correction.

Paint correction has become their most popular service, involving a meticulous three-stage polishing process to restore vehicles to a like-new finish. The application of a protective graphene coating ensures longevity, shielding cars from the harsh Namibian sun for five to six years.

Expanding Services Beyond Car Detailing

Auto Detailing Namibia has diversified its offerings to include quad biking experiences, catering especially to tourists in Windhoek. Denzel’s passion for quad biking has led to the incorporation of this activity into their business model, providing unique recreational options in a city with limited attractions.

Additionally, they offer picnic experiences for couples, enhancing the outdoor adventure aspect of their services. With three quad bikes currently in operation and a fourth under construction, the brothers are committed to expanding this facet of their business.

Future Plans and Growth Opportunities

  • Continue expanding quad biking experiences for tourists.
  • Develop additional recreational activities to attract more visitors.
  • Enhance marketing efforts to educate customers on the value of detailing services.

Auto Detailing Namibia exemplifies how young entrepreneurs can create impactful businesses through hard work and innovation.
