The Burkina Faso government has secured funding for a vital road project aimed at enhancing national connectivity.
On February 19, Burkina Faso’s Council of Ministers approved a CFA10 billion (.9 million) loan from the West African Development Bank (BOAD) to finance the Yargo–Bourzanga section of National Road No. 22. This 96-kilometer stretch will link the Centre-North and Sahel regions, addressing logistical and security challenges.
