The Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria is set to celebrate a significant milestone this year.
Minister Nyesom Wike announced that the FCT will commemorate its 50th anniversary alongside the third anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. A committee will be formed to coordinate the celebrations, which are scheduled for about three months from now.

He noted that removing the FCT from the Treasury Single Account (TSA) has allowed for better access to funding from commercial banks, leading to significant development.
