Nclude Secures Final Close to Enhance Investment in African Startups

Nclude, an Egyptian venture capital fund, has reached a final close of more than USD 112 million, enhancing its capacity to finance technology startups across Africa and the Middle East. This move comes as demand for financial innovation continues to grow.

The fund operates under the investment advisory management of DPI Venture Capital, which joined Nclude after its restructuring in 2025. Originally established in Egypt in 2022, Nclude has since expanded its investor base and strengthened its regional investment strategy, primarily targeting financial technology businesses and startups that improve financial inclusion.

The fund supports startups that combine fintech with artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. Investments range from USD 500,000 to USD 10 million, catering to companies at various development stages, from seed funding to Series C.

Egypt remains the main investment market for Nclude, although the fund can allocate up to 30% of its capital mandate to opportunities outside the country. This flexibility allows Nclude to support Egyptian businesses entering regional markets while also investing in promising startups across Africa and the Middle East.

  • USD 112 million: total amount raised by Nclude
  • USD 500,000 to USD 10 million: investment range for startups

Future Prospects for Egyptian Startups

Nclude’s expanded investment capacity provides additional opportunities for emerging businesses in Egypt to access venture financing. This is crucial for developing new financial services and pursuing growth in international markets. The fund’s focus on financial services innovation and technology-driven growth aligns with the increasing demand for institutional capital among African technology companies.

Next Steps for Nclude and Its Portfolio

  • Continue to support startups developing products for underserved consumers and businesses.
  • Expand investment activities while maintaining emphasis on financial inclusion.
