Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has opened the 99th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) in Awka, emphasizing the need for strategic partnerships to enhance the health ecosystem.
During the conference, themed “One Health, One Pharmacy: Bridging Knowledge, Practice and Policy for National Impact,” Soludo highlighted the importance of pharmacists in creating a productive health ecosystem. He noted that Anambra’s education reforms have reduced the out-of-school child rate to 0.25 per cent, the lowest in Nigeria, and mentioned significant improvements in healthcare, including over 250,000 beneficiaries of zero-cost antenatal care and more than 950 free caesarean operations.
