ExecuJet MRO Services Enhances Aircraft Maintenance in Dubai: A New Era for Embraer Legacy Owners
ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East has made a significant leap in the aviation industry by launching heavy maintenance checks for South African-registered Embraer Legacy aircraft at its state-of-the-art facility in Dubai. This fresh development comes on the heels of regulatory approval from the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), marking an exciting milestone for both the company and aircraft operators in the region.
Located at Al Maktoum International Airport, ExecuJet’s expansive 15,344 square meter (approximately 165,160 square feet) facility is now officially certified to conduct comprehensive maintenance checks on the Embraer EMB-135/145 series, including the highly regarded Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 models. This certification allows ExecuJet to perform checks extending all the way to the 192-month maintenance mark, providing a reliable solution for aircraft upkeep in the bustling Middle Eastern aviation market.
With the new certification under its belt, ExecuJet has already rolled out the red carpet for its first clients, who have brought in their Legacy 600 aircraft. Currently, these aircraft are undergoing extensive 96-month and 144-month airframe maintenance checks at ExecuJet’s Dubai hangar. Moreover, the company is enhancing its service offerings by facilitating the overhaul of one aircraft’s landing gear in the United States, showcasing its commitment to quality and comprehensive maintenance solutions.
What sets ExecuJet apart is its dual certification as an Authorised Service Centre for both Embraer and Rolls-Royce engines, including the BR710 and AE3007A series. This distinction is crucial, as it allows the company to perform vital engine changes and adhere to stringent manufacturer regulations. According to Nick Weber, the Regional Vice President for the Middle East at ExecuJet MRO Services, the growing aircraft operations in the Middle East, coupled with Africa’s increasing trade relations, will likely unlock more opportunities for aircraft servicing in the region.
“We are excited about the growth of business and trade between the Middle East and Africa, and we see this as a stepping stone to further strengthen service for operators from neighboring African countries,” adds Weber.
As ExecuJet MRO Services Middle East continues to expand its capabilities, it not only enhances service offerings in the aviation sector but also contributes to the broader economic ties between regions. For those seeking maintenance solutions for Embraer Legacy aircraft, there’s no better time to consider this dynamic MRO facility in Dubai.
