A qualified Chartered Accountant, Dias is well-equipped for his new responsibilities. He boasts a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Namibia. This solid academic foundation complements his impressive professional journey, making him a valuable asset to Standard Bank.

Before joining Standard Bank, Dias had a notable tenure at the Namibia Airports Company Limited, where he excelled as Executive for Finance and Administration from October 2021 to October 2023. This role helped him hone his skills in financial oversight and management, critical components of his new position. Additionally, his decade-long experience at PwC, including a significant stint as a Senior Audit Manager, provided him with a profound understanding of corporate finance and compliance.

He holds director positions at both the National Housing Enterprise and NAFAU Investments Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
