Morocco is set to launch Operation Marhaba 2026, a vital initiative for its diaspora.
Beginning on June 10, the operation aims to facilitate the return of Moroccans living abroad during the summer season. Under the High Instructions of King Mohammed VI, the program will run until September 15, providing essential support and services to travelers.
Operation Marhaba 2026 Launches for Moroccan Diaspora
The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity announced the launch of Operation Marhaba 2026, which is designed to assist Moroccans living abroad. This year, the operation will feature an expanded network of 26 reception centers across Morocco and Europe, ensuring comprehensive support for the Moroccan community.
Reception services will commence simultaneously at midnight in Morocco, France, Spain, and Italy. The initiative is one of the Kingdom’s largest annual efforts aimed at welcoming back its citizens during the summer months.
Comprehensive Support Network Established
In Morocco, 20 reception sites will be operational, including key locations at major ports and airports. These include Tanger Med, Tangier City, and Casablanca Mohammed V, among others. The initiative also includes additional support centers at rest areas and border crossings to facilitate smooth transit.
Outside Morocco, six reception centers will operate at European ports, including Genoa in Italy and Marseille in France. This extensive network aims to provide social assistance and medical services to travelers during their journeys.
