Ho Chi Minh City has resumed helicopter sightseeing tours after a four-year hiatus, offering tourists a unique aerial view of the region.
Yesterday, four helicopter tours took off from Vung Tau Airport, carrying a total of 48 passengers. This initiative, operated by Southern Helicopter Company and organized by VinaGroup Travel, features routes ranging from 15 to 60 minutes.
Helicopter Tours Showcase Ho Chi Minh City
The newly launched helicopter tours provide stunning panoramic views of Ho Chi Minh City and its surroundings. Passengers can enjoy sights of Vung Tau, the Long Hai–Ho Tram coastal road, and Can Gio Biosphere Reserve. The flights operate on Fridays through Sundays, departing at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Tourists can choose between standard and VIP seating options. The helicopters in use, including the EC-155B1, Super Puma L2, AW189, and EC-225, adhere to all aviation safety standards, ensuring a safe experience for all passengers.
Ticket Prices and Flight Details
Ticket prices for the helicopter tours start at VND2.9 million for a 15-minute flight. Longer routes are available at higher prices, allowing tourists to select the duration that best fits their preferences.
