The Minister of Digital Transformation and Administrative Modernization, Mr. Ahmed Salem Bede, recently met with a high-level delegation from EllaLink, led by CEO Mr. Philippe Dumont. They reviewed the progress of the international submarine cable landing station in Nouadhibou, which is crucial for improving digital connectivity in the country.
During the meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the project’s current status, highlighting the completion of various components, including marine works and the beach chamber. The foundation stone for the project was laid last July by President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, marking a significant milestone in Mauritania’s digital transformation journey.
