The micro-credit and saving program in Eritrea’s Central Region has shown significant growth in 2025.

At a recent assessment meeting, it was reported that the amount distributed to customers rose from 62.6 million Nakfa to 76.5 million Nakfa. Additionally, the loan repayment rate increased from 52.6% to 65.5%, reflecting a 21% rise in repayments and a 13.9% increase in the number of customers.
