The port of Tanger Med has demonstrated significant growth in container traffic and overall tonnage in 2025.
In 2025, the port processed 11,106,164 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), marking an 8.4% increase from 2024. This growth is attributed to the commissioning of the latest extension of the TC4 terminal, operated by APM Terminals. Additionally, the total tonnage of goods handled reached 161 million tons, up 13.3% from the previous year.

In terms of bulk cargo, liquid hydrocarbons saw a significant increase, reaching 8,641,481 tons, a 13% rise from the previous year. This contrasts with a decline in solid bulk cargo, which totaled 522,493 tons, primarily due to fluctuations in cereal imports.
