JAC Motors South Africa has unveiled two new models in its T-Series line-up, enhancing its presence in the competitive bakkie market.
The T9 2.0L CTi Black Edition 4×4 models, available in Hunter and Super Lux specifications, feature improved performance and a rugged design. The Hunter produces 144kW and 487Nm, while the Super Lux delivers 125kW and 444Nm.
New T9 Black Edition Models Launched
The T9 Black Edition stands out with its distinctive rugged look, including a black radiator grille and matt-black 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the premium black leather-enhanced interior combines luxury and durability, making it suitable for both work and leisure.
Standard features include branded nudge and style bars, a tonneau cover, and a tow bar, enhancing its utility. The T9’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine is paired with a seamless ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, offering various driving modes for different terrains.
Performance and Features of the T9
The T9 Black Edition boasts a combined-cycle fuel consumption of 7.8 L/100km and a braked towing capacity of 3 500kg, making it ideal for families and adventure seekers. It also includes advanced features like low-range functionality and a rear electronic differential lock for improved traction.
JAC Motors emphasizes that these models cater to customers seeking a premium 4×4 bakkie with a blend of style and capability. The T9 line-up is available in eight colors, allowing for personalization to meet diverse customer preferences.
Future Plans for JAC Motors
