Sasol is advancing hydrogen technology with a new electrolyser system in South Africa.
The JSE-listed energy and chemicals group Sasol has commissioned a 2 kW proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser system at its Research and Technology campus in Sasolburg, Free State. This project is a collaboration with the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation’s Hydrogen South Africa programme, the South African National Energy Development Institute, and North-West University.
