Muslim communities in Tamale receive fertilizer donation for farming support

The donation of fertilizer to Muslim farming communities in Tamale highlights a significant effort to enhance agricultural productivity.

The Anbariya Sunni Muslim community and the Tamale Central Mosque Muslim community each received 200 bags of fertilizer from Mr. Eric Opoku, the Minister for Food and Agriculture. This initiative aims to support local farmers in improving crop production and contributing to food security in Ghana.

The fertilizer donation was facilitated by Mr. Abubakari Abdul Mumin, Managing Director of Buipe PBC Shea Factory. The gesture is expected to alleviate the challenges farmers face due to the high costs of agricultural inputs.

Mr. Mumin highlighted that the distribution of fertilizer is crucial for enhancing crop yields during the current farming season. He encouraged beneficiaries to utilize the fertilizer effectively to maximize their agricultural output.
