The country has been elected chair of the Pacific Aviation Safety Office Council for the next 12 months during PASO’s 22nd annual general meeting in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Benedict Oraka, director of civil aviation and CEO of CASA-PNG, will lead the council, succeeding Fui Mau Simanu of Samoa.
