The new Community Information Centre in Rundu is designed to bring basic services closer to residents. Previously, many had to endure long walks under the sun to reach town offices, often facing long queues. This centre will change that, allowing residents to access services within minutes.
Ulrike Mezger from the German Embassy emphasized the centre’s role in uniting the community. It will serve as a venue for events and communication, fostering a sense of togetherness among residents.

Kavango East Governor Hamunyera Hambyuka highlighted the centre’s potential to transform how residents access services. It will enable them to see their current plots, obtain certificates, and follow up on local projects.
