Police Recover Lost Valuables for Vinh Hoi Resident After Taxi Incident

A lost bag containing valuables was successfully returned to its owner in Vietnam.

On March 28, Dao Khanh Hong, 66, reported losing a bag in a taxi. The bag contained approximately VND20 million in cash, nine taels of gold, a pair of diamond earrings, a VND300 million savings book, and personal documents.

Quick Recovery of Lost Valuables in Vinh Hoi

Police in Vinh Hoi Ward acted swiftly after receiving the report. They reviewed security camera footage and collaborated with witnesses to trace the taxi’s route. By 8 am, they had identified the driver, Nguyen Van Trong, 36.

Nguyen Van Trong returned the bag and its contents to the police station. All items were successfully returned to Dao Khanh Hong, who expressed gratitude to both the driver and the police for their efforts.
