During the swearing-in ceremony for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream I NYSC members, he urged them to serve with diligence and patriotism. The event took place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Karaye Local Government Area.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by Hassan Kofar-Mata, welcomed the new corps members to Kano State.
