Koudougou Celebrates Education: ENS Graduates Prepare to Transform Burkina Faso’s Educational Landscape

On July 26, the vibrant city of Koudougou, the capital of the Nando Region, became a hub of excitement as the prestigious graduation ceremony for the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) took place. Coinciding with a critical moment for educational rejuvenation, the event saw the President of the National Commission of the Confederation of Sahel States (CN-CES), Mr. Bassolma Bazi, inspiring the 2,090 graduates to approach their new roles with unwavering patriotism and integrity.

Thematically titled “Training to Rebuild Education in a Context of Burkina Faso’s Sovereignty,” the ceremony highlighted the essential role that education plays in national development. As this fresh batch of educators was promoted under the banner of “Education and Sovereignty,” it’s clear that their mission extends beyond the classroom. Under the command of General Delegate Mr. Barthélemy Kagambéga, the graduates pledged to drive Burkina Faso’s educational sector forward, reflecting a commitment steeped in the nation’s aspirations.

Adding to the excitement, Director General Mr. Ousséni Sow unveiled an outstanding success rate of 98.68%, a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the faculty and administrative staff at the ENS.
