This commitment plays a significant role in reducing the overall carbon footprint. Further statistics reveal impressive water and energy efficiency metrics, enhancing their responsible approach to resource management. For instance, water usage is down to 0.34 kl per occupied room and electricity consumption remains at 19.5 kWh per occupied room.
Additionally, City Lodge Hotels have introduced eco-friendly bathroom amenities housed in trays made from 100% recycled Tetra Pak cartons, smartly diverting waste from landfills. They have also made a commitment to using cage-free eggs across all locations, showcasing a holistic approach to sustainability.
