Ernesto Lea Place, a talented artist hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, expressed his enthusiasm saying, “I am so excited for people to see the new changes of the show.” As a child, dreaming of joining the Cirque du Soleil family, his current role as one of the “night butterflies” is a dream realized.
The ambitious project involved a dedicated team of over 135 professionals, including 53 gifted artists, working tirelessly to breathe new life into the production. Chantal Tremblay, the director responsible for both the original and current staging, shared insights on the process: “The challenge was to find the balance between preserving the essence of the show that made it a success and allowing it to continue evolving.” This magical synergy transforms the classic OVO into a breathtaking experience that’s both nostalgic and new.
