Innovo Takes on Exciting New Infrastructure Projects in Gabon!

Innovo Partners with Gabon for Major Infrastructure Development

In a significant stride towards advancing infrastructure in West Africa, Innovo has formalized a partnership with the Gabonese government valued at an impressive €350 million. The signing ceremony, which took place in Cairo, Egypt, gathered key figures from the Gabonese Ministry of Public Works, emphasizing the project’s importance for both nations. This partnership not only marks a pivotal moment for Innovo’s expansion in Africa but also reinforces Egypt’s vision for boosting diplomatic and economic ties with Gabon, demonstrating a shared commitment to regional development.

The collaboration will kick off with two ambitious projects aimed at enhancing living conditions and infrastructure in Gabon. The first initiative will be executed in Port-Gentil, where Innovo will construct a much-needed stormwater network and a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant. These improvements are expected to significantly enhance the city’s resilience against flooding and improve public health safety.

The second project focuses on roadway enhancements, specifically the installation of lighting along the highway linking Port-Gentil to Omboue City. This upgrade aims to enhance road safety and accessibility, encouraging economic activity and facilitating smoother transit for citizens and visitors alike.

Sameh Fam, CEO of Innovo Build, expressed enthusiasm regarding the partnership, stating, “We are proud to contribute to these transformative projects that will improve the quality of life in Port-Gentil and beyond. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to positively impacting the communities we serve.” His sentiments were echoed by Mohamad Gamal, Managing Director of Innovo Build Egypt, who remarked that these initiatives not only strengthen Gabon’s infrastructure but also align with Egypt’s overarching vision of fostering cooperation among African nations.

This thrilling partnership is part of the EGAAD (Egyptian African Arab Company for Development) consortium, highlighting a collaborative approach to sustainable development within the continent. Innovo’s extensive portfolio, built over 35 years in regions including the Middle East and North Africa, showcases their expertise in constructing commercial centers, luxury residential buildings, and vital urban infrastructure.

With its headquarters located in London and offices stretching from the Middle East to Africa, Innovo is committed to creating durable infrastructural solutions that enhance the economies and communities they engage with. As Gabon continues to invest in its infrastructure, partnerships like this signal a growing trend of international collaboration in Africa aimed at sustainable growth and development.

Stay tuned for more updates on this emerging partnership and its impact on Gabon’s landscape. This is a compelling example of how collaboration across borders can lead to mutual benefits and transformative changes for communities.
