Mayor of Accra, Hon. Mrs. Justine Ivy Apawu, Accra Metro Education Director, received the desks on behalf of the schools and praised the AMA for its ongoing support. She pointed out the challenges posed by increasing student enrollment, emphasizing the necessity of additional resources each year. “Last year, they gave us a significant number of desks, and this year, they have increased the support due to rising student admissions,” she stated.
