AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Land Ivory Coast

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Ivory Coast, the host country of the 34th African Cup of Nations.

After spending ten days in a training camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the team arrived back home on Tuesday.

The Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwolu, sent them a dinner invitation and urged the players to compete to the best of their abilities.

The crew left the country’s coast early on Wednesday and arrived in Abidjan, the Ivory Coast’s capital, in the afternoon of the same day.

On Sunday, Super Eagles will play their first group match of the competition against Equatorial Guinea.
