The DStv Premiership’s biggest stars have opted for Cape Town as their holiday destination of choice for their mid-season break!

Check it out.

What’s the story?

The likes of George Maluleka, Samir Nurkovic, Luke Fleurs, and Oshwin Appolis have been enjoying some much-needed down time in the Mother City.

Although some of these players are essentially visiting home when in Cape Town, they’ve been exploring the beautiful city like any tourist would.

Let’s take a closer look…

PSL players vacation in Cape Town

Cape Town is one of the best places to visit in Mzansi during the December/January months. Every restaurant, beach, market and other tourist destination is full!

It’s the coastal holiday destination that most dream of taking a sho’t left to. Bafana Bafana winger Oshwin Appolis was spotted beach side, soaking in the sun and mountain views, the perfect relaxation station before he embarks on his Africa Cup of Nations journey in the Ivory Coast.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Yusuf Maart spotted in the luxurious Clifton area, rocking a two-piece outfit that he’s definitely been saving for the Western Cape summer.

Maart’s Amakhosi teammate Luke Fleurs also visited his home city, as he was pictured with his siblings. He shared footage of the sun going down while at the beach and took to the V&A Waterfront for some grub.

Fleurs’ former teammate at SuperSport United Kegan Johannes enjoyed an active day at Clifton Beach, where he kicked a ball around with some friends before hitting the freezing Atlantic Ocean for some paddle boarding.

Another baller who seems to be having quite the time in the Cape is AmaZulu veteran forward George Maluleka. ‘Mido’ and his wife have been hitting up some of the most eye-catching areas in the City Bowl; Sea Point and Greenpoint.

The ex-Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs baller was seen hanging out with the Twins on Decks dj’s, and bumped in to Loyisa Gola, with the comedian sharing their link-up on Instagram:

Boat rides, mountain hikes and beach days were in former Sundowns youngster Cassius Mailula’s CPT itinerary as he made the most of his MLS off-season after a rather underwhelming first half-season at Toronto FC.

Here’s a look at TS Galaxy’s Samir Nurkovic showing his fearless energy by cage diving with some sharks:
