Exciting New Phase: Potash Exploration Hits Groundbreaking Drilling at Banio!

Millennial Potash Corp (TSX-V:MLP, OTCQB:MLPNF) is gearing up for an exciting phase of exploration in Gabon as they embark on their Phase 2 drilling program at the Banio Potash Project. In a recent announcement, the company revealed its plans to engage Merlin Drilling for this endeavor, which will comprise two drill holes reaching a total depth of approximately 1,100 meters.

Located in the strategic North Target area, the drilling will involve extending an existing historic drill hole—designated BA-001—by an additional 400 meters and establishing a new drill hole, BA-004, with a target depth of 700 meters. This operation aims to delve deeper into the potash mineralization that earlier drilling activities had indicated, bringing potential for substantial growth in the project’s resource base. According to Millennial Chair Farhad Abasov, successfully executing this phase “has the potential to significantly boost the project’s potash resources,” which is an encouraging prospect for investors and stakeholders alike.

The implications of these drilling initiatives are significant. If the drilling proves fruitful, it could extend the known mineralization strike length to an impressive 8,000 meters and upgrade certain resources to a higher classification level. This enhancement not only boosts the project’s credibility but also lays down a strong foundation for future development phases.

Following the drilling program, Millennial has ambitious plans to update its Mineral Resource Estimate. This refreshed estimate will be integral to a forthcoming feasibility study, which is scheduled to commence in the coming months. With the recent completion of a substantial .9 million financing round, Millennial Potash is in a strong position to execute its drilling agenda and undertake revisions for the National Instrument 43-101 resource estimate report.

With the Phase 2 drilling program expected to wrap up by the second quarter of 2025, stakeholders are eagerly anticipating the potential outcomes. The focus on potash at the Banio site reaffirms Gabon’s growing reputation as a significant player in the global potash market, providing local communities with employment opportunities and contributing to the region’s economic development.
