During the UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF 2026) in New York, Minister Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif held several bilateral meetings. Bahrain’s Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals

Minister Alkhulaif’s meetings coincided with Bahrain’s presentation of its Third Voluntary National Review (VNR). This review highlights the Kingdom’s progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In her discussions, Alkhulaif congratulated Saudi Arabia and Egypt for their own VNR presentations, acknowledging their strides under the 2030 Agenda. This recognition underscores the collaborative spirit among these nations in pursuing sustainable development.

Alkhulaif met with several influential leaders, including Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal bin Fadel Alibrahim, and Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Dr. Ahmed Rostom. These meetings aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and exchange best practices in sustainable development.
