Atomic Eagle Ltd. is set to enhance its uranium exploration capabilities in Zambia with a new acquisition.

The company has entered into a binding option agreement to acquire 100% of the Sitwe Uranium Project in the Luangwa Valley. This acquisition significantly expands Atomic Eagle’s footprint in Zambia, reinforcing its status as a leading uranium explorer and developer.

Atomic Eagle Expands Uranium Exploration in Zambia

The Sitwe Uranium Project is strategically located within the Luangwa Valley Karoo Basin, an area known for its uranium deposits. This acquisition aligns with Atomic Eagle’s goal to build a district-scale uranium portfolio in Zambia, a country recognized for its mining-friendly environment and strong regulatory framework.

The project covers approximately 429 km² and was granted in August 2025 for an initial four-year term. Historical work has already identified several radiometric anomalies and zones of uranium mineralization, particularly in the Sitwe North area, which has shown promising drill results.
