Jordan’s export landscape is shifting, with Iraq leading the way.
In the first half of 2026, Iraq emerged as Jordan’s largest export destination, despite a decline in export value to 323 million Jordanian dinars (about 1 million) from 431 million dinars (about 7 million) the previous year. Overall, Jordan’s exports reached 768 million Jordanian dinars (about billion), marking a 25.2% increase compared to the same period last year.
Iraq Tops Jordan’s Export Markets in 2026
Jordan’s export dynamics have seen Iraq take the lead, reflecting a significant trade relationship. The Amman Chamber of Commerce reported that exports to Iraq, although lower than the previous year, still positioned it as the top destination for Jordanian goods.
Following Iraq, Switzerland ranked second with exports valued at 92 million dinars (about 9.7 million). The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt also featured among the top five export destinations, showcasing a diverse range of trade partners for Jordan.
