Egyptian engineering firms are set to make a significant impact in Oman with a new multi-billion dollar agreement.
An alliance of Egyptian firms, Petrojet and Enppi, has secured a six-year engineering, procurement, and construction framework agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for projects exceeding billion. This agreement aims to enhance Egypt’s international presence in the petroleum sector and boost exports of engineering services.
Egyptian Firms Join Forces for Major Oman Projects
The Petrojet–Enppi consortium will be one of four global alliances eligible to bid on PDO projects during the framework period. This strategic partnership aligns with Egypt’s goal to expand its state-owned petroleum service companies’ reach internationally.
