Africazine:

Cazaly Resources Limited is advancing its exploration efforts in Namibia with a new drone survey.

The company has commissioned a high-resolution drone aeromagnetic survey at its Abenab North Project, aiming to enhance its drilling campaign set for the third quarter of 2026. This survey will focus on three priority magnetic targets, particularly the Cadix anomaly, which spans over 800 metres in diameter.

Cazaly Resources Launches Drone Survey in Namibia

The drone survey will operate at a low altitude of approximately 30 metres, utilizing 50-metre line spacing to gather data. This method is expected to produce significantly higher-resolution results compared to previous surveys. The enhanced data will allow Cazaly to accurately map the geometry and internal structure of the Cadix anomaly, optimizing drill hole locations for future exploration.

According to Cazaly’s Managing Director Tara French, the survey will refine the original data that identified the high-priority Cadix target. The results will facilitate a more defined drilling program, enabling the company to assess the potential of Cadix and other nearby anomalies.

Namibia: Key figures on Cadix Anomaly

  • 800 metres in diameter for the Cadix anomaly
  • 790-square-kilometre project area
  • 196-line-kilometre drone survey
  • 45 metres grading 0.73% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO)

Prospects for Rare Earth Elements in Otavi Fold Belt

The Abenab North Project is situated within the Otavi Fold Belt, approximately 20 kilometres from the renowned Tsumeb Copper Mine. This area is recognized for its potential in copper, base metals, and rare earth elements (REEs), which are essential for the global energy transition. Historical drilling has already confirmed REE mineralisation in adjacent carbonatite bodies.

Cazaly is focused on rapidly testing the Cadix anomaly and reviewing other pipe-like anomalies in the region, which may also host valuable mineralisation.

Next Steps for Cazaly Resources

  • Complete permitting and data acquisition for the drone survey in approximately five weeks.
  • Process and interpret the survey data.
  • Finalize drill targets based on survey results.
  • Commence the maiden drilling program in the third quarter of 2026.

Cazaly Resources is poised to unlock the potential of the Cadix anomaly in Namibia’s mineral-rich landscape.
