President Nandi-Ndaitwah Highlights Education as Key Development Priority

Namibia is prioritizing education as a cornerstone for its future development.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah emphasized the importance of quality education during the inauguration of the Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah Science Exhibition Hall and the upgraded Rossing Foundation Ondangwa Digital Technology Hub. An investment of N million has been made to enhance this facility, aiming to empower young Namibians as innovators and problem solvers.

Namibia’s Commitment to Quality Education

President Nandi-Ndaitwah highlighted that education is crucial for transforming lives and reducing inequality. She stated that the government is focused on driving a development agenda aligned with Vision 2030, recognizing education as a vital tool for sustainable economic growth.

The President urged the youth to shift from being mere consumers of technology to becoming creators and innovators. This call to action reflects the need for young people to address the challenges facing Namibia through innovative solutions.

The newly inaugurated facility is designed to inspire curiosity and nurture talent among young Namibians. It aims to prepare them for the demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape, where education, science, and innovation play pivotal roles.
