The Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project is set to redefine infrastructure investment in Nigeria.

The Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, announced that the highway costs an average of ₦7.5 billion per kilometre. This figure reflects the extensive engineering and infrastructure involved in the project, which spans 750 kilometres and is progressing in phases.
