The 13th photo exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City showcases the talents of female photographers while celebrating International Women’s Day.

This year, the exhibition features 165 works by 55 female photographers, highlighting diverse themes from nature to urban life. It runs until March 11, 2026, at the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association.

Celebrating Female Photographers in Ho Chi Minh City

The exhibition, titled “Homeland through the Lens of Female Photographers of Ho Chi Minh City,” brings together a rich tapestry of images that reflect the beauty and complexity of life across Vietnam. From serene rural landscapes to the dynamic urban scenes of Ho Chi Minh City, these works capture the essence of daily life through a female perspective.

A significant highlight is the series of photographs documenting the vibrant atmosphere during the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Female photographers immersed themselves in the celebrations, capturing emotionally resonant moments that reflect the spirit of the occasion.

Key Themes and Artistic Expression

The exhibition not only showcases the artistic talents of women but also emphasizes the importance of photography in preserving cultural values. Many works focus on localities beyond Ho Chi Minh City, including a traditional pottery village in Binh Duong Province and the coastal life in Ba Ria–Vung Tau. These photographs reveal the unique maritime landscapes and the industrious spirit of coastal communities.
