Surulere Local Government Commends NAS for Beneficial Medical Outreach

The Surulere Local Government Area in Lagos recently celebrated a significant healthcare initiative.

The National Association of Seadogs (NAS), known as Pyrates Confraternity, organized a medical outreach that benefited over 120 residents. This event, themed “Ophthalmological and Medical Outreach,” provided free eye examinations, eyeglasses, medical consultations, and prescribed medications.

NAS Brings Healthcare to Surulere Residents

The outreach took place at Paddington Mini Stadium, Barrack Bus Stop, in collaboration with BioFem Pharmaceutical Company. The Vice Chairman of Surulere LG, Prince Muiz Dosumu, praised the efforts of NAS and its partners for making quality healthcare accessible to the community.

Dosumu emphasized the importance of partnerships between non-governmental organizations and private entities in enhancing primary healthcare delivery. He acknowledged that such collaborations are crucial in supporting government initiatives aimed at improving health services.
