The National Water and Electricity Company is nearing completion of a vital water project in The Gambia.

The OIC Water Project, aimed at rehabilitating water and sanitation networks, is currently about 80 percent complete. NAWEC officials anticipate finalizing the project by June, addressing the water supply gap in the Greater Banjul Area.
