Senator Ekpenyong Launches Education Support Initiative
Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong has announced the fourth edition of his Education Support Initiative, aimed at fostering human capital development through education. The initiative will benefit 1,000 qualified students from the Cross River South Senatorial District.
The financial support of ₦100,000 each is targeted at undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in federal and state universities, colleges of education, colleges of health technology, and schools of nursing. This initiative reflects the senator’s commitment to enhancing educational access for local students.
Cross River South Students Eligible for Support
The program is specifically open to indigenous and resident students from Akamkpa, Akpabuyo, Biase, Bakassi, Calabar South, Calabar Municipal, and Odukpani. To ensure eligibility, applicants must provide admission letters and certificates of origin, which will be verified.
Applications will be accepted from January 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. until January 21, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through the official platforms to be considered for the support.
