Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam highlighted the initiative’s impact during a meeting with ministry officials. Launched in January 2019, it has rehabilitated 978 canals and is currently working on 21 more, with a completion rate of 98 percent in the first phase and 62 percent in the second phase.
