Kumasi is set to welcome a new cultural landmark with the construction of a 1,500-seater theatre.
The project, announced by Mayor Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi, is part of the 2026 national budget and has received approval from President John Mahama. Completion is anticipated within two to three years, responding to long-standing calls for a major performing arts facility in the city.
