Allan Gray Orbis Foundation awards 21 fellowships to Namibian students

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is empowering Namibia’s youth through comprehensive fellowships and entrepreneurship initiatives.

For the 2026 academic year, the Foundation awarded 21 fully comprehensive Allan Gray Fellowships to young Namibians. This year, the fellowship selection cycle attracted a record 394 applications from all 14 regions, showcasing the program’s growing reach and commitment to equitable access.

Allan Gray Fellowships Expand Opportunities in Namibia

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is dedicated to cultivating future business leaders in Namibia. The fellowships provide full financial support along with structured leadership and entrepreneurship development. This initiative aims to empower young individuals to contribute to the country’s economic landscape.

In addition to the fellowships, the Foundation runs the Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge (AGEC), which has impacted 2,770 learners since its inception. In 2025 alone, 1,133 learners were reached, equipping them with essential entrepreneurial skills and problem-solving capabilities.
